Since we got Mikey a kid's swimming pool in the backyard, he has used it maybe three times only. The weather has not been very nice, we had sort of a tropical weather here in NE states, always raining and with storm alert at most times. Today, the weather forecast was in the 80's so I took the chance to prep the pool so Mikey can swim a little. Every time I take him for a walk in the afternoon, he always stops by the pool and tries to remove the cover. I always tell him to wait till the weather is warm enough. The water was a little bit cold because the pool is by the shades of the trees, that spot gets sunlight around 2pm'ish, and I took him at past 11am. But he didn't mind the coldness of the water at all, all he wanted was to take a dip immediately. He stayed for a good 30 minutes, splashing and jumping and then he's ready to get off. Poor thing was shivering when I pulled him out, but he surely had a great time. Hopefully we get more warm and sunny weather before we finally put away the pool to get ready for the Fall.
